TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please ensure you have a valid driving licence with you on the day of each lesson. Payment should be made prior to or at the beginning of driving lesson or pretest lesson. Cancellations of a lesson with less then 48 hours notice may be charged 50% of an hourly cost or 50% of a prepaid hour. Cancellations made with less then 2 hour notice or non attendance may be charged the full cost of an hour lesson or forfeit one prepaid hour. We reserve the right to withhold the hire of the tuition vehicle for a driving test, if in the opinion of your driving instructor you are not fully prepared to sit your driving test.
Payment must be made at the time of booking in order to secure the instructor and vehicle for the duration of the agreed lesson. Please note that all payments are non-refundable.
At this point a binding agreement is made between you and Hello EV! independent instructor. This does not in any way affect your statutory rights to be provided with the goods and services you have bought..
Any refunds arising that are due back to a pupil for whatever reason is the responsibility of the Hello EV! and the Pupil seeking the refund.
From time to time Hello EV! will edit and amend its pricing structure to reflect market trends and movements.
Each instructor may at their own discretion and with the pupils consent, discuss pricing related to that particular pupil taking into account distance, pick up, drop off etc.
2. Lesson Postponement
Provided notice is given to the school or to your instructor no later than 48 hours in advance of the lesson, no penalty will apply.
Your instructor reserves the right to postpone lessons if she feels the weather or road conditions are unsuitable or dangerous.
The instructor cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of her having to postpone any lessons, for whatever reason.
3. The Driving Test
Driving tests can be booked by you or by the school. The driving test bookings always take priority over other lessons. Therefore, your lesson may be postponed to allow for someone else’s driving test and vice-versa. Changes to lesson bookings as a result of this will be notified immediately. Test appointments must be notified to your instructor as soon as they are known; otherwise she cannot guarantee to provide a vehicle for your test.
b) Use of the Vehicle
In the interest of customer and public safety your instructor reserves the right to withhold the use of a vehicle for the test if, in their opinion, your driving is actually or potentially dangerous.
c) Test Cancellation
Ten clear days’ notice of cancellation or postponement is required by the RSA. Failure to provide the required notice will result in the loss of your test fee Hello EV! cannot be held responsible for any postponement or cancellation by the RSA. However, we will do all that is possible to arrange another test date as quickly as possible.
4. Tyre Damage and Curbing
If at any time there has been damaged caused or curbing the alloys or tyres damaged due to careless driving on a lesson or on a driving test then Hello EV! reserve the right to seek the appropriate fees to fix the alloys or tyre damage caused by your actions.

6. Learner Comfort and Safety
In the interest of comfort and safety learners are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing which does not restrict movement.
Learners must also take note of any medication they are taking that may affect their ability to drive safely and advise their instructor accordingly before taking any lesson booked.
